CPE/CPD Council to assist in the implementation of PRC - CPE/CPD Programs

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Resolution No. 466, Series of 2008, provides for the creation of a Continuing Professional Education/ Continuing Professional Development Council by the Professional Regulatory Board (PRB) to assist in its implementation of its CPE/CPD programs.

The oath of the members of the CPE/CPD Council was instituted on May 26, 2010, by Commissioner Antonio Adriano, the PRC OIC. Dr. Tomas Acorda, Chairman of the Board of Veterinary Medicine, is chosen Chairman of the CPE/CPD Council. Dr. Rustan V. Patacsil, Chairman of the Philippine Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA), an Accredited Professional Organization, and Dr. Rafael Ramos, serving as department head in the College of Veterinary Medicine of the De La Salle Araneta University,are the members. The provisions in the resolution provided for the guidelines in choosing the members and chairman of the Council.
